What a first email should contain
- The jurisdiction: Finland, South Sudan, Sudan, Kenya, Uganda, or another country.
- The court, authority or institution already involved, if any, and the stage the matter has reached.
- Any deadline, with the date, and where it comes from.
- For a legal opinion: the question in one or two sentences, and who will read the opinion.
- Documents can follow; do not send originals or anything you cannot afford to lose.
